The Clownfish room is a very outdoor/nature oriented classroom and we go out in all types of weather, including rain and snow, as long as it’s not too cold or stormy. We love talking about the different types of leaves and what trees they come from. We also talk daily about the seasonal changes that we observe throughout the year in our outdoor explorations. The Clownfish children love being creative by building structures in block area with different types of blocks and our open-ended drawing table with all kinds of art mediums. The Clownfish teachers, Michelle and Courtney, truly believe in open ended play based learning.
