We accept NH Child Care Assistance and offer scholarships for families in need. If you are in need of tuition assistance, we ask that you first apply for the NH Child Care Assistance before completing a scholarship application.

What to expect while applying:

SCS Family Services will be sending you an email via PandaDoc with the Child Care Provider Verification Form (1863). You will need to complete this form electronically and submit to DHHS NH Easy portal with the rest of your application paperwork.
An interview with DHHS and all required paperwork must be completed with DHHS prior to starting at SCS. If the paperwork and interview are not completed in a timely manner, your enrollment space may be delayed or offered to another child on the wait list.
Once your application and interview are complete, DHHS will be providing you with your Step, Cost Share, and Service Level. SCS Family Services will need this information to set up your billing profile in our system.

The NH Child Care Scholarship application is managed through DHHS and SCS does not have any visibility or access into the application process.

How to Apply: Navigate to NH Easy and click on “Apply Now”

You may need the following information for each person in the household to help you complete this application. You should try to gather as much of it as possible before you start.

Personal information including social security numbers, birth dates, etc.
Income from self-employment, jobs and other income, such as child support
Expenses such as housing, medical care and dependent care
Asset information including vehicles, life insurance, bank accounts, homes, property, etc.
Current or recent health insurance and/or Medicare information
